Nenagh Golf club is situated at Beechwood, four miles north of Nenagh town. The club was officially established in 1929 when it took over an existing nine hole golf course on which the game had been played since the early part of the century.
There have been numerous developments of the course and its facilities in the intervening period culminating in the opening of a new 18 hole championship course in June 2001. The new par 72 layout, designed by Patrick Merrigan, features a wonderful variety of challenging holes for golfers of all abilities which, due to its naturally free-draining terrain, is playable all year round.
As well as being regarded as one of the best inland courses in Ireland, Nenagh has a well earned reputation for friendship and hospitality.
