Junior Cup: The first rounds of the Munster Junior Cup will be held at Nenagh on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no men's competition on Saturday June 29. On Sunday morning June 30 the timesheet will be open for men's competition up until 12 Noon.
Tuesday Mixed: The Tuesday Mixed of 2019 commenced on May 7th and will continue every Tuesday until September. All are welcome to come along and participate in a fun evening of golf. It's a fun format and great opportunity to interact with other members. Get your names on the timesheet available in the clubhouse. Come and show your support for your vice-captains Jim Flynn and Lucy Sanders.
Singles Matchplay: There are still one second round match to be played. First named player to arrange match. Get your match played as soon as you can to ensure the smooth running of this competition.
Club Fourball: The Club Fourball draw was made recently. The pairings and rules are posted on the noticeboard in the men's locker room.
AIG Senior Cup: Nenagh took part in the AIG Senior Cup staged at Limerick Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday afternoon our team had a 3½ to 1½ win over Ballyneety. On Sunday morning they overcame Adare Manor Golf Club in wet and testing conditions. The team of Collwyn Martin, Shane Hogan, David Reddan Jnr, Robert Ward and Paul Carey with reserves David Hunt and Tony Scroope won the first three singles matches on Sunday to progress to the next round. Heavy rain dictated that the planned Sunday afternoon matches did not go ahead. Nenagh will face Limerick GC in the next round, date and time to be agreed. Well done to selectors Brian Duggan and Eanna Jones.
Cashman Cup: Our Cashman Cup (Munster Fourball) team won their second round match 3½ to 1½ with Woodstock at Nenagh on Tuesday. The team was: David McGrath and Liam O'Gara; Dinny Ryan and Billy Morgan; Billy Burke and Jim O'Sullivan; Noel O'Dwyer and Garry Howard; Willie Duff and Willie Harty. Well done to the team and managers Toddy Hogan and Jim Gleeson. They will meet Limerick in Limerick in the next round.
Diary change: There had been a change made to the diary in August regarding the Captain's (Hugh Maher) Prize. The Captain's Prize Qualifier will now be held on Saturday August 10, Sunday August 11 and Monday August 12. The Captain's Prize playoff will take place on Saturday August 17. Societies already booked in will have to be catered for. There will now be an open singles on Sunday August 18. A scramble will take place on Saturday August 24 and Sunday August 25.

Ladies Senior Foursomes:Congratulations to the Ladies Senior Foursomes team who won against Ballyneety Golf Club at the weekend. Best of the luck to the intermediate team who play Lahinch Golf Club in Ballykisteen Sunday 30th June @1.45pm, all support welcome.
