Tuesday and Wednesday Open: This week's Tuesday and Wednesday open singles will be last for the current season. We would like to thank all the members and many visitors who supported this open and we hope to see you all back again next spring.

Friday Seniors: The Friday Seniors began on Friday October 15 and will continue every Friday for the winter season. The tee will be reserved for senior members from 10am to 12 noon. Competition over 15 holes. Play from the green markers. Members €5. Entries will be taken in the pro shop.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the last draw held on Friday October 8th our vice captain Liam Hogan won €150 with the total pot at €295.To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. The winner will receive 50% of the pot. The draw will take place every second Friday. The prize grows with every ticket sold. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Friday October 22. Thanks to everybody who supported this club fundraiser.

Paddy Peters: The sympathy of the club is extended to the family of the late Paddy Peters who died at the weekend. He was a member of the club for a long numbers of years and served on committee where his work on the course was especially valuable. He won the captain's prize in 2010 receiving the trophy from Jim O'Sullivan. He also won the club singles in 1990. He was a great man for team golf being a member of many successful squads down through the years including the club's first ever JB Carr success. His greatest team achievement was managing the All-Ireland winning Pierce Purcell Shield team that was successful in Thurles Golf Club in 2018. There was a guard of honour of club officer and members outside the club entrance on Tuesday.

Club Fourball: The club fourball was won by Liam Maher and Dominic Ryan they beat Paddy Heffernan and Cian Heffernan on Sunday afternoon in a tight final that was decided on the 18th hole.

AGM: The annual general meeting of the men's club will take place on Friday 12 November at the clubhouse. Notices of motions and nominations for officers must be with the secretary before Friday 22nd October.

Munster Junior Boys: The Munster Junior Boys Strokeplay event will take place at Nenagh Golf Club on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 27, 28 and 29 October. They will have practice on Tuesday 26 October from 10am to 1pm and the course will be closed for maintenance after that. The qualifier will take place on Wednesday and Thursday with the top 45 players competing on Friday 29th October. Course will be closed from 10am on Tuesday 26th October to an hour after the last tee time on Friday 29th. Volunteers wanted to car parking and ball spotters over three days, contact Tom Doheny.
