Winter League: The Winter League 2021-2022 continued last weekend. Following the fourth round of singles qualifiers the following is the table: John M. Slattery 481, Andrew McCarthy 479, Michael Hegarty 472, Robbie Foley 471, Cronan Casey 463, Jody Hurley 450, Gerard Ryan 449, Denis Corrigan 443, Kieran Ryan 441 . The Winter League will continue with the final 14 hole qualifier this weekend Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th February. Five of the eight players from each team must play in the 14 hole competition with four best scores to count.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the draw held on Saturday 29th January Paddy Heffernan won €185 with the total pot at €350. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. The winner will receive 50% of the pot. The prize grows with every ticket sold. Please support. The next draw will take place on Saturday February 12th. Thanks to everybody who supported this club fundraiser.

Open Team of 4: The new Open Team of 4 competition has commenced and will run for the months of December, January, February and March. The sponsor is Eanna Jones (PGA professional). Full playing handicaps apply with two scores to count. Entry fee will be €25 per player for visitors and €5 per player for members with re-entry in same month €15 for visitors. 25% of entry will go to the best visitors team per month and 25% goes to the best member team per month.
