4 Person Scramble: Next weekend's competition will be a 4 person scramble. You can play on Friday, Saturday or Sunday in any combination of men, women or mixed. Play off your fourball handicap with one tenth of the combined. Maximum handicap for men will be 28 and women 36. Three drives to be used per person and those driving to be clearly marked. Entry will be €5 per person for members and €20 per person for non-members.

Central Towns Cup: The Central Towns team had a great start to their defence of their title against The Heath on Saturday last winning by three matches to two. Playing at home were Anthony Whyte and Paul Comer while the away players were Eamon O'Brien, Aidan Doyle and Paul Ferris. Well done to the team and manager Mel Gleeson. They now play the winners of the match between Gowran Park and Carlow.

Moore Cup: Nenagh's Moore Cup team didn't have the luck when they started their campaign on Saturday afternoon against Portlaoise. They were defeated by 4 matches to three. The home players were Dinny Ryan, Eugene Fitzpatrick and Billy Morgan. Those playing in Portlaoise were Eamon Callanan, Willie Harty, Pat Foley and Hugh Maher. The selectors were John Hackett and Bernard Delahunty.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland North Tipperary Branch Golf Classis will take place at Nenagh Golf Club on Friday 26th May. It will be a champagne scramble event with prizes galore. The entry fee is €160 per team of four. Fourballs at top courses and lots of great prizes. To register your team contact the pro shop at 067 31475.

50/50 Draw: The most recent 50/50 draw was held on Saturday 6th May in which Sean Minogue won €175 from a total pot of €350. The next draw will take place on this Saturday 20th May 2023. Thanks to all members who have continued to support the draw.
